Pros
Validity was a great company to work for, but unfortunately COVID hit during a time when the company was in the middle of undergoing a lot of modifications to help make it better. Combine the total chaos caused by the pandemic with the already difficult task of trying to keep everyone on the team connected and satisfied while they’re trying to stay on top of all the changes, and you’re bound to get some unhappy people who can’t handle that much added stress at work. I want to make it clear that I wasn’t one of the people complaining about the way we were operating. In fact, I was beyond impressed with the manner in which leadership handled the pandemic, and I was grateful that I didn’t need to scramble to find a new job the way that so many of my friends at other companies were. All I’m saying is that the super negative reviews should be taken with a grain of salt. A lot of them are coming from people who have no idea what it takes to successfully run a business. When I left Validity, it had nothing to do with the company itself. I was actually learning a lot and having a good time working together with the team, but ultimately after being in sales development for over 3 years, I felt that it was time for a career switch.
Cons
No company is perfect, but I think Validity did a great job under the circumstances. I left for personal reasons and wish everyone here well.
