Large company. Diverse mining operations around the world (the big picture sounds interesting, at least) Great work hours, because no one is motivated enough to stay past 4.00pm
Cons
Expected to shrink number of employees in the future (up to 50%) Horrible outlook in iron ore/base metals industry Reducing funding to Research, Development, and Analytical departments Technical Excellent Centre feels like a ghost town Very, very, very few young employees under 30yrs old at TEC Analytical Chemistry is boring and repetitive when no new processes are being implemented
