Captioner - Anonymous employee VITAC Employee Review

They fired “laid off” 26 people because they could not hold onto contracts and they over hired unqualified voice writers. When they “laid off” the 26 it was over the phone in a conference call. They gave you two days notice. They kept on Voice writers that aren’t even qualified for TV. Management has not clue what captioning is about. The are stealing captioners from a company in Colorado Springs that dose telephone Captions. That company should make their employees sign a noncompete. This was a great company when it was Caption Colorado. Now that VITAC purchased it they just care about making money. Not caption quality.
