Pros
You get real expore to PR work, everything from pitch writing to list building and press cliips. Real client exposure. I had the opportunity to sit in on client calls / meetings, which was a fantastic learning experience for later roles in my career. The team is incredibly collaborative, especially for a fully remote company. They are invested in my growth and helped provide a reference for my next (non-PR) role. It is a great place to build initial PR / professional skills and learn more about the industry.
Cons
The team at UpSpring is incredibly fast-paced, but I think that is in line with any PR agency at this level. The team is incredibly supportive in bringing new members up-to-speed on prioritizing tasks and meeting team deadlines.
