Pros

- As I expected the worldwide teams are generally open minded and hierarchies are flat - Everyone seems approachable, including leads and upper management - People I met seem open to the degree that they are clear about flaws, things that they want or need to improve (product flaws, workflows, communication, etc.) - We can be bold and try or support things we believe in within our direct or wider circles of concerns/teams - The company is not only focused on products and takes time and resources to improve as a company and look into humanitarian topics - The company is big enough to find thousands of interesting things to learn and many challenges for the foreseeable future in tech, tools, services, initiatives, etc.

Cons

- Ramping up on big teams like this during COVID-19 is harder than on smaller teams still one can learn to pull information and meet people (again, teams/people are very approachable via Slack/Zoom in chats and video calls)

Pros

-Flexible WFH environment -Decent work life balance and good benefits for the US based employees

Cons

-CEO and CFO insist on being based in New York, when the Company is based in SF. Earnings calls are at 5:30am because screw you West Coast. -CFO will stop at nothing until all the G&A, Accounting, Tax, and, Finance team members are located in Bangalore in an effort to cut costs. Offshoring is massive here and will only continue to expand. -Constant anxiety about layoffs. Sometimes they announce mass layoffs, but more often do it in smaller waves so as to not rattle the cage. -Top heavy org structure. There's probably as many or more SVP, VPs, Sr. Dir level folks as there are individual contributors/leads.
