Pros

The job in itself is a challenging and rewarding one. Co-workers are knowledgeable for the most part, helpful, and friendly.

Cons

Unfortunately, the owner of this company has severe anger issues. He often would go off on employees and cuss and scream at them for mistakes that he himself had made, but refused to take responsibility for. He often sent out mass emails to all staff belittling other staff members, saying blatantly sexist or bigoted things, and gossiping about other staff. They will treat you well for a little bit, but will end up cutting you loose for no reason. In the time that I worked there, I saw a dozen or so loyal and talented team members cut for no reason at all. Essentially when working here, you will be set up for failure. You will be degraded and humiliated, you will be blamed for things that have nothing to do with you, and the owner himself will throw you under the bus to make himself look good to his clients. This, in fact, does the opposite, as clients are turned off by the narcissistic attitude that radiates from Stuart. They are severely understaffed, and refuse to hire more team members, or at least team members that will be kept on for a long period of time. Stuart's team is afraid of him, and although I loved working at Ulistic for the job, team members, and wonderful clients, I came to work every day scared and on edge waiting for the next tantrum. I know that others felt the same way. You never could be sure when you would be targetted. It saddens me to write this review. I hope it will be taken for what it is, and management will delegate to other leaders to run the company, instead of taking on everything themselves.

It is very unfortunate that this review has been written. Allow we cannot tell exactly which former employee wrote this review all we do is address it in general terms. Ulistic is a very flexible organization and at this time of our company history, we were all virtual employees which made it very difficult to work in many cases. Emotions ran high, sometimes tempers were a bit out of control but this was generated at situations versus individuals. On numerous times the leadership of the company was told they were "The Moms and Dads at work" and this is something we strived extremely hard to achieve. We permitted employees to take the time to be with their children when they are sick, makeup work time later and also offers a tremendous amount of flexibility. We are troubled by the staff being the fearful message. We have numerous team members who have been with the company for many years, cornerstones of our development and true representatives of our brand to our clients. Clients have never told us about "narcissistic attitude" that comes from our CEO. Many people come to Ulistic to work with our CEO because of his tenure and history in the managed IT services community. During the tenure of this particular individual's employment (sorry, we don't know exactly who it is...but we have an idea)...growth was very fast paced and this growth added numerous stressors. We are not innocent in this situation and we admit, many things can be handled differently. Since this date, Ulistic has opened a new 7000 sq foot office in Sebring, FL, hired numerous account managers and assistants. We have taken the "family" approach to a new level. We still permit employees to work virtually when required, take the time to look after their loved ones...however, at the end of the day...we have clients to take care of and objectives to be met.

Thanks for your feedback...the challenges of working in a single vertical. Often lots of repetitive tasks to start off with. As team members become more familiar with clients, we find out what strengths each team member brings and then match them up accordingly.
