The only pro is their occasional incentive trip
Cons
Management makes a mockery of the slogan "because you matter" because in reality the behaviour shown towards staff, clients and candidates alike entirely contradicts this. An extremely misogynistic work environment, led by management with inappropriate comments and behaviour towards the women in the workplace. For a place that preaches diversity, I don't particularly think it is very diverse to fat-shame women, only hire women that management thinks would "look good in a bikini" and in general objectifying women. When comments have been made about the inappropriate relationships between management and some of the women in staff, they would be laughed at and turned into a joke. Management constantly preaching consistency when the lack of consistency in the company was laughable. First round of staff being paid a zero-base salary, on the grounds that the OTE would be anywhere between 100-150k in your first year of recruitment. This was then boosted to 12k on the grounds of giving the team more stability, while also not being comfortable so that they can strive to work hard and make commission. Management preaches "work-life balance" when the option to work hybrid was out of the question for a long time. On top of this, it is expected, and said in a backhanded way. for people to work way overtime, on weekends & on on bank holidays in order to "be successful." There is nothing "you matter" about this company. In my opinion, it's run by a group of cowboys who think they're above the law, and lack any sort of morals, integrity and respect which is funny as they are the very values that they supposedly live and breathe. The fact that they have also been winning awards has made a mockery of the ex-staff who have been severely burned by UMATR. I can genuinely say, this company is the worst company. I have ever worked for and would strongly advise anybody who is looking to join this company to seriously consider why the majority of staff have not made it past the one-year mark.
