Pros

Tuition remission (made it possible to graduate without loans), good salary, free health insurance

Cons

Workload really depends on the class and the professor. Some TA positions have a much heavier workload than others in terms of grading and teaching. At times, it can be difficult to balance TAing with your own school work.

Good hours, flexible to student time schedule, allowed me to do homework on the job
