Pros

Competitive pay and inclusive and diverse environment (Truthfully the only pros I can think of)

Cons

This company has incredibly high expectations of employees that they set up for failure. Not only was the BB&T and Suntrust merger incredibly disastrous but they gave an extremely small monetary bonus. This company's culture is terrible, Everyone is overworked and completely disregarded in conversations with upper management when brought to them. It has been a topic of conversation for several years. The worst part is that when you're overworked and under supported and a mistake happens (specifically regarding the branch tellers) they are extremely hard on you (threatening your entire job), when in all reality if the branch had been properly staffed, that mistake would have been easy to avoid! ****The pay is not worth the workload or treatment****

Pros

Great benefits one of the few places that still offers a pension. Not everyone is aware of all the benefits Truist offers but they are great. Great product and services.

Cons

Aggressive sales goals with not much of a competitive rates. There seems to be a big disconnect with executive leadership and retail employees. There’s a push for technology and enhancement to current processes. However, it seems like the technology is not tested before hand to ensure smooth integration. Branches operate on near minimum staffing causing strenuous situations when someone is out or leaves the company. Operational procedures have significan room for improvement.
