Pros

I truly have nothing positive to say about this godforsaken company.

Cons

All the reviews saying the ask employees to write positive reviews are true. The owner will comment and say they're not, but they 100% are. The owner is a horrible, narcissistic, immature, sporadic person, and she has family that she employees who is treated way better than everyone else. Be prepared to work insane hours, many times at short notice. Also, be prepared to be talked to like a dog. You never know when the owner will be in a good or bad mood. There is a good reason this place has such awful reviews. All the comments the owner leaves about how they're improving their process, etc is a lie. She will say anything to save face, like a true narcissist. This company is beyond horrible. Stay as far away from this place and the owner as possible.

Pros

After 20 years working in both agencies and in-house organizations, this is the kind of agency I had been looking for. TruePoint has strong momentum and a clear path for growth. The CEO brings exceptional energy, enthusiasm, strategic vision, and relationship-building strength. There is a genuine focus on building the right team, opening new roles thoughtfully, and creating opportunities for employees to grow alongside the company. I also deeply value the company’s financially conservative approach, which reflects long-term discipline and stability. As new leaders have joined, I have seen meaningful effort to strengthen the work, culture, benefits, and internal processes. I feel valued, engaged, optimistic, and energized here in a way I have not in a long time.

Cons

Growth and scaling can create pressure, and that is not always comfortable. At times, employees may find it harder to see the full vision or understand the strategy as it evolves. Some former employees may have felt the strain that comes with leadership pushing to elevate the work and the team. The company is clearly in a phase of building, refining, and right-sizing, so this may not be the best fit for someone looking for a static environment.

Thank you for the thoughtful and detailed perspective. We’re grateful to have you as part of TruePoint and appreciate the experience you bring to the team. Building and scaling comes with both opportunity and pressure, and we’re intentional about doing it the right way, strengthening our work, culture, and systems as we grow. Your recognition of that effort means a lot. We’re energized by where we’re headed and even more by the people building it with us. Thank you for being part of that journey!

Pros

Can give you a job title an an agency for your resume if you need experience

Cons

The same feedback has been given about this company for a decade and the same responses from the company have been given every time (go look at previous reviews). The negative reviews have always focused on poor leadership and shortcomings of the owner. This is not a corporation with endless bureaucratic layers that need to be adjusted in order to enact systemic/systematic change. This is a small business (don’t worry, it’s owned by a woman as pointed out in the most recent positive review that is obviously written by her family member as they are the only employee who’s been at the company for more than 10 years). There is absolutely no excuse for this company to have a single set of issues bad enough to prompt negative reviews over the span of many years. It is embarrassing for the owner that she has been replying to these comments publicly for this many years claiming to be working on the same things that she is obviously incapable of fixing. She is not competent. End of story.
