Thank you for the opportunity to address some of your concerns. We regret to read that you did not have a positive experience as a TruAssets vendor. If you feel that there was an error made by TruAssets with any of your invoices, I urge you to follow the vendor dispute procedure that we implemented earlier this year. The vendor dispute form is located in the forms and docs section of the work order management system you accessed to view your open work orders along with instructions on where to email the document (accounting@truassets.com). Each invoice will be investigated and you will receive a response to your dispute no later than 72 hours from when it was submitted. Following this procedure can result in payment for an amount still owed to you or a detailed reply explaining the reason the adjustment was made to this invoice, which often times can be a training opportunity. I am happy to say that TruAssets is constantly updating vendor training materials to be more detailed and helpful in explaining client requirements and best practices.

Pros

Decent salary overall even if you have to work 70 hours or more per week to achieve it. Lots of opportunities for hard workers that are naïve to the fact they will be used to benefit the company.

Cons

Management does not care if you have a life outside of work because they think TruAssets is all that matters...this being said as they have plans for their weekends while you work extra hours to keep things in order. Very little help when problems arise and even if management is aware of it it becomes your problem to deal with and resolve. Promises that are okayed by management are never honored and it makes you look like a liar to the contractors in the field. As stated previously all managers are buddies and if one has a hidden agenda against you they will set you up for failure and/or replacement.

Thank you for writing this and making us aware of some of the struggles you encountered while working for TruAssets. Work-life balance is something that can be very hard to achieve in this deadline-driven industry, especially when the company was in start-up stages, and it is in fact something that the majority of the management team struggles with as well. Sometimes it can seem as though there is always something left on your to do list that may go unfinished until the next day. This can be caused by many factors that can include not properly managing time in the office, lack of delegation at times, and or not reaching out to peers or management for assistance when dealing with an unbalanced workload. To your point, there are many opportunities for growth within the company and many of those in leadership roles have gotten there by sacrificing time when maybe they would have preferred to be at home. The management team works very closely together to achieve company goals and objectives which supersede any perceived personal friendships by far.
