Pros

- Uncapped commission. Plain and simple. The opportunity to make life changing money is what should excite anybody looking for a career as a LAE with TQL. - A vast network of support. The wealth of resources available to an LAE here at TQL are vital to our success as a company. There is ALWAYS an opportunity to reach out for help and assistance if needed. This is a 24/7, 365 days a year type of industry, and TQL provides an excellent structure of support for all account executives who may need it.

Cons

- Long hours. Like I mentioned, this is a complete around the clock industry, which often requires after hours work. You will have to log in at home and book loads/take phone calls from customers and carriers alike while not in the office. You are going to hustle, and if you're a hustler who wants to change their life with the money they are making, this opportunity is for you. - Inevitabilities of the logistics industry. Trucks will break down, be late for a pickup, and will often give you an attitude even though you have done nothing wrong. It's just a part of the job, but managing these inevitable setbacks is what separates those who become successful in this role, and those who don't.

Amazing work hard-play hard culture, plenty of opportunities for advancement, and really friendly coworkers. The job isn’t for everyone, but for those wanting to dig in, there’s so much opportunity for success here.

Cons

Not many holidays due to the nature of the industry

Pros

Frat House environment if that's what you're into.

Cons

Where do I even start.... My first week there the sales manager, whose account I was supposed to look over and be trained by, was gone for the whole week. The desk spot they put me at was next to this JBL party box, making it virtually impossible to communicate over the phone. When you're in the training phase you literally do all the work for the account manager, then you're expected to make cold calls to people that want no part in TQL. When you do get someone on the phone and make a sale, you wont be seeing any of that money. They have a commission draw set up where you have to be making a certain amount of revenue before you can make commission- thus leaving you to the measly 43k salary. These recruiters and managers SELL you a false dream, the turnover rate there is astronomical for a reason. They will hire anyone that'll learn the system, use them for labor for 6 months, cut them when they don't meet the ridiculous KPI metrics. To be actually successful here you either have to work near 60+ hours a week for YEARS waking at 4am to "snipe" accounts that have been released due to inactivity, or be handed an account by a retiring SR level manager. RUN from this company!
