Good perks. Access to sporting event tickets. Good for an entry level employee or those on the investment or sales side of the business (the only departments that seem to matter).
Cons
Zero management skills of department leadership. No advancement opportunities because of micromanaging and myopic leaders. No professional or leadership development skills - not valued by senior leadership. Lack of diversity especially in favored areas - investment management and sales. Lots of “yes men” that have little practical experience outside of the Tortoise environment. Corporate culture once strong but now deficient. Grossly underpaid for skill set.
