Constant disrespect towards employees and their rights, hardly any training, and poor work-life balance - Anonymous employee ThinkingLinking Employee Review

Pros

Interesting work with a challenging and dynamic environment in which to put pre-existing skills into practice. Lunch is often free.

Cons

The way that employees are often spoken to by the executive is at best condescending and at worst outright disrespectful, especially if you have any questions about your job or are somebody who likes to contribute your own ideas. You can expect to be made to feel completely incompetent if something is unclear or if you are simply trying to improve your understanding. This is made worse by the fact that there is no training, so you need to figure everything out alone. As others reviews have noted, contracts say 9-6 but in reality the office hours are 9-8 or more every day. You need permission to leave and the executive also prefers that everyone works in the office. This would perhaps be tolerable if these hours were reflected in the base salary or overtime payments, but they are not.

Pros

- Exposure to some interesting assignments at times - (Some) friendly and helpful people; many of whom do not stay - They will offer you a full-time job very quickly

Cons

- Cult of personality around founder - Founder has ego issues; it's either his way or the highway - Toxic work environment dressed up as 'high standards' - Inconsistent exposure to seniors - Inefficient bureaucracy - A lot of random assignments based on founder's whims - Bad pay, no payment into national insurance or pensions, no benefits, no time off - Cult-like internal lingo - 'thinking' and 'linking' become a religion.
