1. Not ideal for a long-term career. You’ll soon realise that many leaders here lack strategic direction and are unable to provide proper guidance. If things don’t go well, be prepared to have your capabilities, attitude, or passion for the company questioned. Management tends to favour employees who don’t challenge decisions and simply go along with what’s asked. 2. Favouritism is very obvious here. If you’re in the bosses’ good books, you’ll have a much easier time. If you’re not, expect to be judged for everything you do. 3. Office politics are alive and well here. The GM may vent about the bosses to you, but apparently they are one big happy family after work! 4. Little to no salary increment. Management will constantly focus on what you’re lacking and what you need to improve on, while citing poor company performance and lack of profitability as reasons for not rewarding employees. 5.
