Pros

Of those who remain, there are a lot of good, well-intentioned people. The product itself is highly-usable!

Cons

The company seems to be struggling to remain relevant in a rapidly-changing market after PE acquisition. As is common, large numbers of people have been RIF'd post-acquisition.

Pros

Fully distributed company with a culture to match. Competitive pay and benefits with great HR resources. The product is easy to be passionate about once you start using it.

Cons

The product while extremely useful and time-saving has many competitors that make it difficult to understand where the direction of the product should go. The new CEO is providing that direction now, however.

Pros

Great overall values and culture. There is a genuine passion for customers, values high-quality output and products, and gratitude for teammates. The team is collegiate--welcoming, helpful, and appreciative. I've worked at different places--large and small including those with cachet--and am happiest here. Positions are fully remote with good benefits (benefits improve as the company grows), trust, and flexibility. All productive perspectives--positive, negative--to improve the customer experience, product quality, and company are respected and welcomed here. This company makes an effort to focus on what's most important and what matters professionally and personally. Hard work/effort, continual learning, and improvement are appreciated.

Cons

It is a small but growing company so processes need ironing out, but you get to be part of critiquing, building, and refining/improving the process. The hiring process is arguably more intensive than others, but they prefer the right person who can be happy and successful in the position long-term. It's a two-way street: they interview you as you interview them. Because most positions have a high level of autonomy, the company would better be suited for someone who is hardworking, has a high level of integrity personally and professionally, is independent but collaborative, and would have an enthusiasm for specific software that can help others improve workflows and achieve greater things. However, if you make it through the process, you'll find--if you've had experience at multiple other places to compare--that you will really appreciate the work environment.
