Instability: you never know what will happen. Every 6 months CEO has crazy ideas about how the company should be managed, you never know if you're going to be fired. Yesterday, he changed the "remote first" job to a "hybrid" one. People who are from outside of Poland need to appear in the office 3 days a month! And if you're "lucky" enough to reside within 50km of the office, you need to show up 3 days a week. Many people live on the other side of the city and are forced to commute 1-1,5h to the office or they'll be sucked. The new rule comes to live in a month; there's not even a try to respect people's lives/plans they already made. Have you already booked a flat in Croatia for two months? Your problem, we want to see you in the office because apparently, you cannot code anywhere else. Don't like it? Here's the door. Glass ceiling: once you reach seniority, that's the end. Your next career step is to become a leader or look for another job.
