Pros

I'm not micromanaged - I'm treated like a professional and am allowed the space to function at my own speed to hit all deadlines (all hit so far!) Dress code - we are now able to dress a little less formally than before - I feel far more comfortable now and it makes for a more pleasant working environment. Fantastic Team - the OPERATIONS team is a fantastic bunch of people to work with. Being around this team is both uplifting and encouraging as we all work hard as individuals and absolutely smash it as a team!! Friday Drinks - Every Friday we are able to have a drink with our colleagues while at work. This is a great touch as by the end of the week a bit of down-time with your peers is much needed!

Cons

Operations could do with perhaps being more integrated with the Sales teams to ensure a complete team atmosphere. Long hours - Operations currently start at 9am and finish at 6pm. Not only for travel reasons but also for our families, it would be great to finish perhaps at 5:30pm (that half hour really would make a big difference - it would give a better work/life balance)

Pros

Location of office Fantastic if you're management i'm sure After work and lunch time drinks were great

Cons

Everything except the above. Absolutely shocking company to work for. Unless you're going in as a Director (and chances are, you wont even be needed) then I really wouldn't bother, ESPECIALLY if you end up working back office. If you're not making money, or not making enough in their eyes, you may as well be invisible. My favourite part is they know how awful Testing Circle is, so they've completely forgotten about that and it's employee's, and now put all their time and effort in to Sparta Global, which is getting fantastic reviews but has the same horrific managers running it. You don't get the wages you deserve, asking for any extra tools or training to help you with your role is a complete waste of time, and the lack of people management skills is very apparent. God forbid the day you need a day off sick or want to take a holiday day without feeling guilty for it, no benefits unless you're making mega bucks, and no step up for anyone really. I could go on and on and on, but this company made me certain in my mind that I never wanted to work for a recruitment agency ever again - so thank you Testing Circle, I suppose!

Pros

Joined after leaving university - throught the company graduate Academy programme. The three months training in the Academy based in Richmond was very up to date. Trainers are really friendly and had lots of practical experience, as many are recent ex contractors in SDET or Development. Training on the SDET course was excellent Recently started working on interesting project in a large Government project Testing Circle has recently won a lot of new projects in the Government sector so it is a good time to join the company Good way to get your first role in testing after leaving university as the training was provided for free. However you do have to provide a two year commitment to Testing Circle for this 3 months free training Company seems to be growing at a rapid rate as they now have over 100 IT consultants working for them.

Cons

Had to wait two month before my first assignment. However the Academy team did keep in contact during this time to update me the status of opportunities More social events and contacts with Test Consultants based on client site
