I am only 6 months old in this company. So, let me explain my journey in 2 phases ie..How I got here and how it is to work here. Phase 1- 9 months back I was working with a product company. It was long tenure with my existing employer and I was looking for a change. The preferred companies I was considering were other software vendors and tier-1 service providers. I got call from two companies simultaneously: one was Tavant and another one was a tier-1 service provider. Naturally, I was initially inclined to work in the larger firm. However, the first thing that attracted me towards Tavant was the passion with which the HR (Sampada) approached me. Things I liked was timely follow-ups, clear and transparent communication, quick turnaround time and availability to address my queries at odd hours. I didn't find this in the other company HR at all. It was a loomy picture there. Even when I got selected, I had to follow-up myself to know that. The offer amount offered by the tier-1 provider was a bit high than Tavant but Sampada was somehow able to get it compensated with a Joining bonus so, it worked out well. Phase 2: Now coming onto my work experience here: The company is filled with brilliant minds and most of the colleagues are helpful. Although, the scope of work is limited, the work is interesting and challenging. You get ample time and opportunity to learn and execute projects. The company has been growing well and have won some big clients in last 2 years. So, hopeful of a positive and long career here.
Cons
- Inflexible working hours - Processes can be better set (especially I've heard there is always a delay in getting appraisals) - No awe-inspiring perks, incentives, employee benefit plans
