Pros

Benefit is good but no PTO just FTO but they will not let you off easily.

Cons

Working with Tarro has been one of the most challenging professional experiences I've encountered. From the outset, Tarro has demonstrated a concerning lack of reliability, accountability, and initiative. Missed deadlines, poor follow-through, and a general disregard for team standards have become the norm. What’s even more troubling is the resistance to constructive feedback. Rather than taking responsibility or showing any desire to improve, Tarro often deflects blame and remains disengaged from the collaborative process. This kind of behavior doesn’t just stall progress—it actively undermines the efforts of the rest of the team. In a high-performing environment, every team member needs to pull their weight. Unfortunately, Tarro has consistently proven to be a liability rather than an asset. Unless there is a serious and sustained change in attitude and work ethic, I cannot recommend Tarro for any future roles that require responsibility, teamwork, or even basic professionalism.

Pros

- very engineering driven culture - zero political nonsense in PED - excellent pay, above industry standard - best benefits and health insurance I've ever had - challenging work with very real impact to 1000s of small businesses - you'll learn and grow a lot and rarely hear no to an idea - hybrid work for most, up to fully remote for Eng and some others - unlimited PTO is very real - no one cares when or where you want or need to work, just get your sh*t done

Cons

- you've gotta work really hard and long and odd hours sometimes, which isn't a fit for everyone - formal performance reviews aren't a thing in Eng, which some people prefer - constant public feedback is the norm, can sometimes be a little embarrassing and feel like call out culture (engineers aren't always the best with words) - engineering is way ahead of the rest of the company in 2025 BUT it was the reverse in 2024 and prior, so now the rest of the company is reorganizing around the lightspeed engineering is operating at - mostly remote work means face to face time in PED is pretty nonexistent outside bi-annual offsite weeks - flat engineering structure means no advancements/promos - great comp but no raises if that's your thing - diversity could use some work, its not bad but its not great either
