Pros

CEO has strong values and creates a democratic transparent culture in All Hands meetings Start-up like environment with cool offices Awesome parties, snacks, catered lunches Growing company (doubled the size within a year) and still has huge potential to grow even further with video and sponsored ads Great technology recommending millions of sponsored ads and organic content on premium publisher sites Very fast paced environment, challenging and demanding hours Great opportunities for self growth and to learn the ad-tech space Passionate intelligent colleagues Global exposure through working across geographies and time zones Company is investing into new products, innovates constantly to stay competitive in ever changing ad-tech space. It has become a platform company with lots of video, e-mail, and editorial solutions rather than a widget company

Cons

Often times things are done in a chaotic and unorganized manner Heavy Jewish culture, you will hear hebrew in the office all the time. Most of the managers or team leads have been promoted to their roles due to time spent in the company not because of their skills, leadership potential or people management skills You need to be a part of the original gang that established the company in the early days. The employees who joined later are just filling in the open roles. Some of the top executives are not friendly, do not care about employees at the bottom. There is no career planning and performance management. Favorite employees get promoted easily, move to different roles, take sabbaticals, come late and leave early. Often times you will hear the term: “We like you”. Favoritism creates unfair environment for the company's success. New products are rushed to the market without proper planning. Sales Teams and Account Managers are selling half-baked products that are not ready for the market. Product and Professional Services are carrying the burden to make things happen.

Pros

1. Generous benefits, pay is not too bad for someone new to the industry. 2. beautiful working space full of food, snacks, drinks, etc 3. Basically, the corporate want to make sure you are comfortable at work and have all the required gadgets 4. CEO is ambitious, highly involved, and actively seeking out new directions for the company instead of sitting on the native market they already dominated

Cons

1. Your personal experiences are highly related to the team you are on. 2. Some managers, who I am not sure if this is a culture or langauge issues, often sound condescending. Whenever you ask questions, instead of providing instruction, they will use rhetorical questions and leave you even more confused. Some like to blow things out of proportion when they disagree with your work. 3. Sending work messages 24/7 for nonurgent issues every day, even if you say 'not expecting you to reply,' is still pressure, especially coming from your direct manager. 4. The company pays hella amount of attention to their online reviews. They have people rolling out a food cart to encourage people leave comments/reviews online. I see this as both good and bad. Good because the employer does care about employee feedback, at least seemingly. Bad because you only need to PR this hard when things are not doing good. 5. Mandatory days at the office are Mon, Tues, and Thursday instead of letting you choose the days. Make you feel like a kindergarten kid when you have such limited freedom for your own schedule. 6. Toxic behaviors are tolerated
