Pros

The benefits are great - employees get a generous holiday discount, which increases with years of service. Annual leave stars at 25 days and also increases with time. The modern office is travel-themed and has a canteen. It always feels like a young place to work - I’d say 80% of people are under 40, with a lot under 30. As a general rule, colleagues are friendly, sociable and down to Earth.

Cons

Progression opportunities, in my experience, have been very limited. A lot of senior management have been at TUI many years and have no intention of leaving. When a higher role does come up, it often feels like it’s already been decided who’s going to be successful - before interviews have even taken place. Also, celebration of success doesn’t happen as often as it should.
