Pros

Close to good restaurants, didn’t have a cubicle, nice carpeting, coworkers were cool, my W2 got sent to the right address

Cons

If you're considering working here or contracting for this company, don't. Trust me. Sure the company loves to advertise they're a top workplace for women and they do promote them - but that doesn't mean they're treated right. As a woman, I got sexually harassed on a daily basis by a few of my male coworkers and nothing was done as it was seen as "just the culture." I got passed up for a promotion and it was given to a male coworker for no valid explanation or discernible reason, and when I inquired about it, I was given sexist feedback. I have also been reprimanded for not wearing high heels. You will get bullied nearly every day but it will be disguised as "feedback" and professional growth (because commenting on someone's personality or appearance or speaking to them aggressively is professional). You will live in poverty level for up to a year, depending. You will make $12.25 an hour, and can work "unlimited overtime," meaning, if you don't want to get evicted, to have to work 12-14 hour days. You aren't getting paid $50k base until you are already making the company $156k on 12.25 an hour. You won't see a dime of the commission you make until you hit 8k in spread. If you're making the company 7k in spread a week, you're making $50,000, and the company is making $364,000+, not including the other money they take out. If you enjoy working in a sweat shop where all of the money you actually earn goes to the people at the top, not to yourselves and not to your contractors, can handle living hand to mouth in poverty and debt, have an affinity for sexual harassment, and enjoy peer pressure around partaking in heavy drinking, this is the place for you.

Pros

Good opportunity to learn on the job. Able to meet with people in the industry both with TEKsystems and Microsoft. Good hands on experience with an AI data center

Cons

Sever lack of work 80% of days. Contract position got let go 3 months ahead of earliest anticipated date. Low overall responsibility within role (most contractors could only work basic tickets. Anything requiring more troubleshooting was reserved for full time employees). TEKsystems management was far removed from what was actually happening day to day onsite. Was led to believe that there would plenty of contract to hire positions when there were only a handful and were already taken.
