Pros
- Descent base salary coming out of college - Great work culture, young, energetic, positive - Hard work pays off, big incentives for hitting numbers - great training program - gets your prepared for the real world - good starter position Overall Teksystems is a good place to start your career. In a time where its difficult to find jobs out of school Tek is always hiring young talent.
Cons
- Long hours - Not much work/life balance - Not much room for promotion, outside of sales Tek is a good place to start a career, but thats about it. Unless you love sales there isn't much room for advancement past that. The hours are rough, minimum hours are 745-530, but if you wanna hit your numbers its more like 730-6. The opportunity to make good money is there, but it doesn't come easy. You are expendable, the job security is only there if you are hitting your numbers, the length of employment does not matter. Not a career job, not a place where you will spend 20-30 yrs, get the experience and move on
