Pros

Transparent Executive Leadership. Corporate culture genuinely leading the way to achieving a fair professional playing field for minorities through its DE&I programs and initiatives. Great benefits that include a professional training stipend. A work environment that is collaborative, nurturing, and engaging -- colleagues are both motivated and invested. Work-Life balance is encouraged.

Cons

That all my talented, professional friends are not working with us at T-Rex ... yet.

Pros

Impactful mission: Meaningful work supporting military healthcare, EHR modernization, and major federal programs. Strong teammates: Genuinely sharp, collaborative colleagues who care about delivering for the client. Fast learning curve: You can own large workstreams early if you’re capable and proactive. Client-facing opportunities: Plenty of chances to build relationships directly with DHA, MTF leadership, and user communities. Flexibility: Generally supportive of remote work and flexible schedules depending on project.

Cons

Leadership consistency varies: Experience can depend heavily on project manager and director involvement. Structure is still developing: Processes, communication, and expectations can feel ambiguous or reactive at times. Career progression not always clear: Promotions and development paths aren’t uniformly defined across projects. Resource planning can be uneven: Teams sometimes feel understaffed during high-demand periods. Growing pains of a small company: As the company scales, alignment between exec vision and on-the-ground execution could be tighter. Compensation transparency could improve (if this aligns with your experience). Tooling/ops maturity lags behind the ambition of the work.
