Pros

They will train you and ship you off with a mentor. The hiring process can be a pain. I had to leave the CDL school twice to get a new medical card but I'm glad I stuck it out with Swift. I drove OTR for 3 years without any issues, besides the usual stress of the OTR life. They will work with you to get you home on time. I'm glad I drove for Swift.

Cons

They need to streamline their hiring process so applicants aren't wasting time. They need to be better about getting the right mattress for their trucks. Drivers should not have to stop to swap it out for a bigger one.

The correct mattresses should be in every truck. We switched to memory foam mattresses in the last two years, which may have caused existing drivers to need to swap out their old ones.
