Pros

No work commute. Very little social interaction. You set your work hours, so long as there isn't a 12hr lapse. If you work like a slave, they will give you a new truck with small amenities, like a built-in fridge. Very quick pay promotion, after 3 months I was making second to highest tier pay; which is platinum driver, bonus per miles is a couple of cents more per miles, paid quarterly. As a company driver you have no concerns other than immediate issues. I felt like my own boss because my driver leader left me alone for the most part. Best part of this job is the flexible work schedule, you work for 2 weeks, then you can go anywhere and take as much time off, but you have to return the truck; means moving out. If you hate your family, you won't have to see them, ever if you so choose. A truck with a sleeper cab is an apartment without a bathroom or running water and electricity. They do allow you to idle the truck under 50%; whatever 50% means. If you don't have a house, this is your new living place and you will actually make a little money.

Cons

Company's union free and proud to be, constant brain washing and misinformation. You are provided an option to buy their healthcare plan, which isn't much cheaper than market prices but they call it benefits. They run a charity to promote good-will and gain PR, except the majority of the money is funded by drivers like yourself; slogan is "making people's lives better" with your money. Job requires certain tools, like a broom and vice grips, but they will not issue them, but they will give you load locks which you use once and you can throw away; which I never did but they don't take them back so I ended up leaving them in trailers because the truck can only hold 4. Despite getting you where you want to go, they will mostly send you where they need you, if you don't go, you will sit idle because they will break you by starving you; some guy sat at Phoenix terminal for 2 weeks waiting to go home, hadn't driven more than 200 miles before wanting to quit. I like this company but I refuse to work for food. If you like to work, that's all you will be doing unless you're one of those people who don't require 8hrs of sleep.

Pros

There aren't any pros besides them lying to you making you feel like you're the liar...

Cons

They make you feel like a liar with a false positive hair follicle test then they cut you off and don't even return any of your calls or give you a chance to prove yourself. The recruiter was really my friend until those results came in and then every time I got to try to talk to him to prove that they were wrong never even returned my call or answer the email
