Pros

The job postings and offer letters depict optically that there are a lot of pros and perks to working here. Things like “stocked kitchen” and “unlimited PTO” appeals to people who are green in the tech startup space. A few months in you realize you can’t actually use your PTO because taking time off is impossible and you also realize you are an adult and don’t rely on your place of work to feed you. There were a few other perks that drew me in initially that were quickly taken away when new C-Suite showed up. I will say, there are some wonderful people still at the company, though most smart people left in the last year or so to keep their sanity.

Cons

Micromanaging and gaslighting from leadership on the daily regardless of if you're performing your job duties well or even picking up other people's slack. Toxic work environment, no emotional stability. The changes that have happened are not just "growing pains" as others have tried to persuade. Trust your gut if you're thinking about working here.

Good work life balance, benefits, great leadership
