Pros

Most senior management staff are reasonable. Still progressive and have the small company vibe. Let's you move around and see different sides of the device world. As much as you put in you learn. The company tries to do the best for you. A lot of folks work there are dynamic and easy going. Their biggest asset is their people.

Cons

Workload at times can be a problem at times. But if you have the Stryker mentality of i do and learn, there will be a lot of learning opportunities that will help you develop your knowledge in the industry and regulations. Company starts great projects but a lot of them fizzle out before completion. As much as the company is driven by people, the company is people dependent. And it competes with BD and JnJ for resource in the NJ region.

Pros

The individual contributors you work with are fantastic people and the products we work on are really interesting and have significant impacts on patient care.

Cons

Sports Medicine has unfortunately changed from a dynamic and collaborative group to one being led by toxic leadership. Rather than working together and trusting team members, they now have an in group and out group. If you’re in the in group, you can say anything you want without being questioned and be automatically trusted even when your track record says otherwise. If you’re in the out group and your message doesn’t align with what the leadership wants to hear, then you are automatically wrong and not to be trusted.
