Pros

Great peers to work with Up until a year ago there had been no layoffs Products made by company help save lives

Cons

-Compensation is unfair, particularly to the worker bee. And is not properly distributed within company. A college student is unable to pay their rent with what you make not to mention the student loans you probably have and car payment/insurance. Does not provide even the minimum for cost of living. Promotional and performance raises do not give much reason to stay on for promises in the future. -110% is expected from employees. So many people plain burn out. The compensation doesn't match the hard work being performed. -Tardy/absent policy is a nickel & diming policy. (Just 1 second late you get an occurrence.) -When it comes to performance reviews, there is more concerned with a couple absences and tardies (by less then a minute) then the actual great job they say you are doing. - Poor encouragement to properly balance home life with work life.

Pros

The individual contributors you work with are fantastic people and the products we work on are really interesting and have significant impacts on patient care.

Cons

Sports Medicine has unfortunately changed from a dynamic and collaborative group to one being led by toxic leadership. Rather than working together and trusting team members, they now have an in group and out group. If you’re in the in group, you can say anything you want without being questioned and be automatically trusted even when your track record says otherwise. If you’re in the out group and your message doesn’t align with what the leadership wants to hear, then you are automatically wrong and not to be trusted.
