Pros

There is a continuous flow of opportunity at strata. Internally, if you speak up about your position or goals and make a move you will receive support for that.

Cons

Some people are incredibly overworked. We are currently on a hiring push for more resources. You pick up projects and are asked to be on projects when you are overcapacity sometimes.

Pros

What I appreciate most about working here is the people. I genuinely enjoy who I work with and feel cared for and respected. My voice is heard, and I have seen my ideas turn into action, which makes the work feel meaningful. There is a high level of trust and flexibility. I feel empowered to get my work done without micromanagement, and I’m able to integrate life and outside responsibilities into my week when needed. The hybrid model (two days in office) and Flex Fridays twice a month are real, consistent perks that make a difference year round. The culture is kind, flexible, and driven. Whether you’re on campus or on Zoom, it feels human. Meetings often start with social check-ins, and leaders seem to care about their teams as people first, then employees. That tone matters. I’ve experienced significant growth in my career here. My role has continued to expand as the organization grows, and I’ve had opportunities to lead, learn, and take on more responsibility. I’ve also seen promotions and financial reward over time. My manager provides thoughtful feedback, regular validation of my skills, and consistently checks in on my experience and development. Beyond the day-to-day, I value how the company invests in community events. Participating in things like the Step Up for Kids stair climb with my team for a local Chicago cause was a meaningful experience and not something every employer would support.

Cons

At times, communication can feel more reactive than proactive. Some annual processes can sneak up, and concerns tend to gain traction only after they are raised more visibly. As we continue to grow, more proactive planning and communication would strengthen an already solid foundation.
