Pros

> Relaxed attitude (e.g. no dress code, clock in when you want). > Opportunities to play football and use the gym during lunch. > The game. Working on such a famous title in the video games industry. > Fantastic atmosphere and banter within some teams.

Cons

> Starting salaries are terrible and never improve as loyalty counts for nothing. Much much more lucrative to on-board as an experienced hire. > Direction of the game isn't democratic. Everyone gets a vote in feature meetings but ideas are only considered great if the studio director thinks so. > Developers can be pushed to breaking point during crunch periods just to ensure certain features make it into the final release - regardless of a loss in quality. > Salary structure has lost all perspective. It's kind of like Barcelona paying reserve team players £5k a week, first team players £50k a week, but then having Messi, Neymar, and Suarez all on £500k a week. But of course, the management would think this is normal.
