Pros

Splash Lagoon offers more than minimum wage at $8/hr for slide attendants and $8.50/hr for trained life guards, although they are required to pay for a class that costs $80. All of which is offered to minors as young as 16.

Cons

My feet and hands have been deteriorating for months and I am required to rub desoximetasone on my feet and hands to smooth them out temporarily. The doctor I visited told me that it was most likely due to the chlorinated water or other pool cleaning chemicals. The pain of walking on these feet at splash can almost feel like walking on needles, not to mention the itching my feet will get.

Good amount of hours, Consistent Expectations, Very easy to understand what your job is

Cons

Added on more and more responsibility with no promotion or pay raise, I got medical problems with my skin because I was always being forced into water, Management and Supervisors often had different views on matters and never agreed much
