Working here is great, I know my career is 5-10 years ahead of where it would be working elsewhere in this industry in this length of time. The status quo is simply not acceptable for anything at SpaceX, there is always a better way to solve a problem and something new to learn and practice. Good ideas are embraced, responsibility carried at an individual level is high. You will not find yourself battling levels of management to spend some money to evaluate a new design or process.
