Pros
SCE is a quasi-government company. They are for profit but are highly regulated. As a result, the work and culture are somewhere in between working for the government and the private sector. They have great benefits, competitive salary and relative job security.
Cons
Very bureaucratic. High job security creates an environment of laziness and sense of entitlement. They do have occasional layoffs to trim some of the fat but there still remains a large percentage of employees that are dead weight.
