Applied online, battery, zoom interview (decision making, communication, customer service long form discussion). Interviewers (3 managers) were great communicators and made it clear what they were looking for and demonstrated their depth of knowledge in the field/industry.

It was a lengthy process with many periods of waiting. Multiple stages and proctored tests. In the end it was worth the wait. They really get their candidates. They interview with a panel as well as a pre recorded video.

Look, I've now had three interviews with SCE all wildly qualified or over qualified for. I'm now finished being just an "outside" guy to meet their interview quota. My belief is that any "senior" position or non entry level position will always get filled by internal candidates at SCE. You have to be internal or a contractor otherwise forget it. The only way they'll change their culture is if you stop applying for senior level jobs. So don't go to that interview and tell them to just hire Joe Shmo and take him from a Specialist I to a Specialist II

Start off with a personality test, followed by design testing. If all test are passed you have a video interview followed by a teams interview. All interviews are done in star method.

Basic Questions with emphasis on dealing with difficult people. Questions about keyboarding skills. Greatest skill and areas of difficulty. Education. Long term goals. Where see yourself in five years. Hours available

Battery A For those of you wondering, Battery A is a personality test. Focuses on seeing which statements a person is less likely to choose. It went smooth for me, waiting for next step.

Very slow and antiquated, they are incredibly slow in their response and have a very ancient process. You attach your resume then have to write it all in again, then you have a personality test that takes an hour.

My first round interview was an assessment test, which was more about your personality test. My second round was behavioral questions where they want to know more about their candidates as a whole.

I had a teams interview with 3 individuals and it was an overall positive experience. I would say their process does seem a bit strange. They ask you a number of question and most are what you expect to see during and interview and after each question they take lots of notes and are grading your response. Just be prepared for the typical interview questions and do not be put off when they sit their and judge your answers. Just keep going and do your best. I think the toughest part of the process is the fact that while you are answering it is very tempting to continue to talking to ensure you impress them because instead of listening they immediately start writing down your answer and grading it.
