      Scary upper management - Relationship Banker SouthState Employee Review

      Pros

      They pay you every other Friday. They are closed Saturdays They are closed on Holidays. There are some really great people that don’t lie because they are not managers or bank officers.

      Cons

      Local upper management forces you to break policy and then hide behind decisions. The upper management are there for themselves not to coach employees.

      Favoritism Non-existent Raises Unnecessary AI use EVERYWHERE Pays less than other banks that are keen on selling, while they now take a sales-forward approach for no raise whatsoever Higher-Ups don’t know what being in a branch is like in the modern day
