Pros

Great team that support each other, team member, and management is open to feedback. The company offers opportunities to grow. Always a new thing to learn or implement. The company's mission is really what drives most people to join and to stay!

Cons

Like most start-ups that scale, there is a lack of structure which can cause frustration and miscommunication. This is usually fixed fast, but it can cause tension from time to time.

Pros

Very welcoming and supportive company culture, the candidate and the onboarding experience was great. Tons of learning opportunities for Interns, Hiring managers works with you to make sure you reach personal goals. Lots of autonomy and flexibility.

Cons

As like every other startup’s there might be little shift in workloads, sometimes you'll be really busy then sometimes there'll be plenty of downtimes

Pros

Wonderful, brilliant, and passionate people work at Sourcemap. It is a great place to learn about the nuanced supply chain issues in a hands on way. Healthcare benefits were also very strong. Due to the dynamic nature of it being an early startup, you may get to wear multiple hats day to day (though also a con to working there).

Cons

The culture is toxic, and finger-pointing, where making a mistake or expressing an opinion (contrary to leadership's opinion) could lose you your job. There is no structure to any roles, and as a result, no career development. Raising an opinion about product issues could also lose you your job. Customer issues/complaints could also lose you your job. Customer churn and lack of sales could also lose you your job (multiple layoffs in one year). Requests to leadership for better structure, team SOPs have gone ignored, resulting in mismanagement of data and chaotic coordination (lack thereof) between various teams. Due to the continuous staff turnover, and lack of documentation, you are essentially working in survival mode to do multiple jobs and stay afloat, resulting in long hours of work, texts on vacation etc.
