Pros

Covered parking, nice building, catered meals twice a week, all the unhealthy snacks and soda you could ask for. There's a gym within walking distance that you can use if you aren't chained to your desk.

Cons

By far the worst place I have ever worked. My day was filled with a micromanaging tyrant that barked orders all day. All the characteristics of a horrible boss. Don't be fooled by all the smoke screens. They claim to be innovative, yet my job consisted of doing every single thing manually. I did a two person job and was told it wasn't enough. You will need to live and breathe this place. Work life balance? Forget it! It's unheard of that anyone in this company works from home. You are required to be there no matter what. I was told that it didn't matter if there was an ice storm SW doesn't care, you need to be there! I was told several times that my past work experience at a fortune 500 company didn't meet the standards of SW. Yes, they are that arrogant! If you have ideas other than theirs, this place isn't for you! The cliques are the worst. You can't trust anyone you work with.

Pros

Amazing office space in Charlotte with a strong emphasis on work-life balance. There are plenty of social events and networking opportunities that help employees stay engaged and build relationships across different business units. The recent IT reorganization has created a unique opportunity to participate in system and process design initiatives. While this level of change and transformation may not appeal to everyone, it offers valuable experience for those who enjoy shaping new processes and driving organizational improvements. I am optimistic about the direction of the organization and confident in the vision and leadership of the new IT management team.

Cons

Career advancement opportunities can sometimes feel limited within a satellite office environment, and promotion paths are not always clearly defined. Employees seeking long-term growth may benefit from having proactive career development conversations with leadership. The recent IT reorganization has introduced a period of transition, resulting in some uncertainty and lower morale across parts of the organization. The department is currently in a rebuilding phase, and new employees should expect to contribute to the implementation of new processes, systems, and ways of working. Compensation appears to be somewhat below market rates for certain roles, which may be a consideration for candidates prioritizing salary growth.
