Pros

Softerware is all it's cracked up to be and more. I've been with the company for a little over 2 years and I'm still waiting for someone to pinch me. I've never worked for a company that cared so much about their employees. We are voted best place to work in Philly for a reason! Every single person I come in contact with whether it be managers, directors, executives they wall know my name and are always pleasant.

Cons

When I was first hired and going through the on-boarding process the amount of information and material that was thrown at me was a bit daunting. I was reassured by everyone that it would all click and it did

While we don’t promote pinching our staff, we appreciate the time you took to provide your feedback :) Based on feedback like yours, as well as the new position of the International Training and Professional Development Manager, we’ve already made changes to the onboarding process. We have all new staff meet with various departments within their first 3 months to see first hand how each department’s role fits into the bigger picture of SofterWare. We also extended the length of the time for the training schedule so it's not so overwhelming, and you have more time to get acclimated. We’ll continue to make improvements based on the great feedback we get (like yours).. We want to ensure onboarding is a “delightful” experience for all of our new staff joining our team. Thank you for making SofterWare a top workplace! Thank you! Kathy

Pros

Excellent positive company culture that values work life balance and transparency. Even as an intern they immediately let me know what the different positions earned at my first 1-on-1. Despite only being an intern, I always felt respected and that people cared about what I had to say during meetings and when giving critiques.

Cons

Only con I can think of is that if you don't like being fully remote then this won't be the company for you
