Pros
Learned a lot about customer service and problem solving. Was given opportunities to train new hires, move up to customer service and then front end supervisor. The people I worked with were nice and respected my limited availability due to school. My manager was happy to give me more hours when I had the availability to work more.
Cons
No pay raise despite moving up into front end office and doing triple the amount of work of a cashier. Head office switches store management every other year and it’s hard to adjust to their new rules and management style.
