On a day-to-day basis, there is close collaboration with engineers who are knowledgeable, approachable, and generally willing to share expertise, which makes tackling challenging technical work more manageable and rewarding.

Cons

Many decisions made at the top level appear short-term, reactive, and lacking any coherent long-term strategy, which creates constant uncertainty about the company’s direction. The overall benefits offering is minimal and significantly below industry standards, especially when compared to similar companies. Career mobility is further constrained by an unusually long notice period, effectively trapping employees and making it difficult to pursue external opportunities. Job stability is heavily dependent on project continuity, with little to no protection when projects end or client requirements shift. There have been instances where employees were laid off citing budget constraints, while new hires were brought in simultaneously—despite assurances that performance was not a factor. This contradiction raises serious doubts about leadership transparency and actual priorities. More concerning is the recent trend of senior employees leaving the company without having any backup opportunities lined up. When experienced professionals are willing to take that level of risk, it strongly suggests deep-rooted issues within the organization. This is a major red flag and speaks volumes about internal conditions. Prospective employees should be extremely cautious and think carefully before joining this company.

Pros

- Able to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds - Mid place to start your career

Cons

- Bad resource management, causing chaos in projects - Bad mentorship and knowledge transfer. You basically have to figure things out on your own which is good if time and money is not involved. - There is no staying factor. You do good? Axed. You perform badly? Axed. You've contributed for years? Axed. - SMT pulled a 1984. Putting on a facade and erasing traces even though people can clearly see that the work force is shrinking. - Not much career growth. Reminds me of my great grandma when she told me to look at the trees. Seedlings die, trees wither, leaves fall, flowers die. But instead of disease and nature it's SMT doing it.

Cons

- There is absolutely no job security you can be fired at any time without warning or accountability - Absolute lack of transparency between employees and the organization - Zero bonuses and extra effort are completely unrewarded - Salary increments are minimal and far below industry standards - Inexperienced and ineffective senior management with no clear long-term vision - Overtime is expected, yet there is no compensation for it - Benefits are extremely limited and not competitive in any way - Long notice period (3 months) that severely limits job mobility and often prevents employees from securing new offers - An extremely aggressive CEO who openly scolds and shouts at employees in front of others, creating a hostile and humiliating environment. - The company claims to have a clear hierarchy, yet senior management consistently bypasses it, creating confusion and a complete lack of respect for process
