Thank you for your feedback. We noticed you removed your prior 5-star reviews when adding this new one. We're sorry your perceptions changed at the end of your multi-year journey with us. We are committed to building a world-class software team. In terms of priorities, we encourage engineers to share feedback on their workloads in 1:1s. We invite them to propose priorities for sprints based on their observations of the code. To address technical debt, we have "Fix it Friday". Engineers can work on what they want that day, including refactoring. To keep improving our team's skills, we invest in technical mentorship via Plato and dev courses via Platzi. We run leadership programs, book clubs, and wellness events. We also run a team survey every quarter, and take immediate action on feedback. That said, we are always improving. We will take your feedback into account as we continue making improvements in 2022.

Pros

I worked onsite with this team and found things professional, focused, and execution-driven. Expectations were clear, communication was direct, and teammates stepped up for each other Clear ownership, strong coordination, and thoughtful preparation make it easy to move fast and deliver.

Cons

Hours can be long and the pace is intense especially at trade shows, with limited downtime during busy periods.

Pros

This is a company where your work actually matters. SnapMagic is building the infrastructure layer for how electronics get designed, and you can feel the traction. Millions of engineers already use the platform, and the team is still small enough that every person shapes the direction. What stands out most is the level of ownership. You're handed real problems, trusted to figure them out, and held accountable for outcomes. The CEO has an exceptionally clear vision for where this is going, and that clarity filters down into how the whole team operates. There's no busywork here. Some things I appreciate: - Ownership and scope you'd normally only get at a founding level - Real product-market fit with millions of users and paying enterprise customers - Direct, growth-oriented feedback culture - Leadership with deep conviction and long-term vision

Cons

- Processes and playbooks are still being built, and you'll be asked to iterate on them as you go - Expectations are high - but I also wouldn't have it any other way
