Pros

Formed good friendships with a couple of coworkers who are currently not there anymore as well. Other than that, there was no pros.

Cons

Let me be honest and frank here- SmartTalent is the most GOD AWFUL company I have ever worked for. They do not support or reward talent. This company has the highest turn over rate I have ever witnessed. They blame the high turn over rate on the industry and becoming "burnt out" but this is simply not true, it is them being in denial and defensive. The only employees who have been there for longer than a year are the managers who have been with the company since the beginning and are all best friends who only look out for themselves and behave in the same unethical, unprofessional and deceitful way. I was amazed by the constant daily inappropriate and sexual comments made by managers. The "commission structure" is a joke (if you even receive your full comission). The base salary is not comparable to what other ACTUAL recruiting companies offer. The training is also a joke. Just sit down and read a horribly written 200+ page manual. They will lie and sell you on this great opportunity for infinite earning potential but the type of clients (general labor, warehouse) they have and pursue and the way they conduct their business, there is no growth or earning potential here. Also BEWARE, SmartTalent management is known for making fake accounts and writing their own positive reviews. Take every positive review with a grain of salt as it could very well be the owner or management team. Also take note of the owners response to any negative review. Notice how it is so unprofessional, demeaning and bitter? That alone will give you a good glimpse of the type of negative, unhealthy environment that is SmartTalent. P.s. I did not leave involuntarily.

Pros

The company offers supportive leadership that values employee input and growth opportunities where available, places a strong emphasis on building long-term client and candidate relationships, fosters a collaborative team environment rooted in accountability and support, and provides the chance to wear multiple hats and continually expand your skillset.

Cons

Like many in the staffing industry, the work can be unpredictable with last-minute client needs and candidate fall-offs, which can create pressure to constantly adapt and problem-solve. Balancing the expectations of both clients and candidates can also be challenging, especially during peak seasons or tight labor markets.
