    SmartTalent Response

April 21, 2015President and Managing Director

Thank you for your review. Yes, working in this part of the staffing industry can be difficult and down-right hard at times. The sometimes relentless demands of our customers, our business client and assignment employees can be challenging. It can put a real stress on the work/life balance when trying to meet the needs of our customers. Completing our mission to deliver results to our customers, their clients and their internal employees’ needs can stretch us to the limits at times. We are doing our best to work through these issues and still deliver on our promises, but it is a work in progress and hopefully, ever improving. Thank you for your efforts.

    I worked at SmartTalent full-time

    Pros

Great working relationships with most companies and coworkers.

    Cons

Management has authoritarian Type A personality, micromanages everyone, and is dismissive. You are belittled in everything you do and directed by fear. Very drama filled place and turnover is extremely high. I’ve seen people last longer in restaurants.

I have been working at SmartTalent full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The Branch Manager has been in Staffing for 16 years, is very knowledgeable and willing to teach people like me who never worked in Staffing before. The co-worker are nice and everyone works together to hit goals. Bonuses are icing on the cake! It's nice to know if you work hard you can make a decent living. I love the fact that SmartTalent his lots of opportunities to move up within the company and they are willing to train the right person.

    Cons

The work is at a very fast pace and requires organization skills and the ability to multitask which doesn't come natural to me. However, I am learning time management skills through repetition.

I have been working at SmartTalent full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I have been working in the Kirkland branch for about 6 months now, and I can say that out of all the jobs I have had this has been the most challenging but also the most rewarding job iv had. Coming from a customer service background, Recruiting was something that i was very interested in. Before coming to SmartTalent, I was having a lot of trouble finding a company to give me a chance to get into recruiting. Most of the other places required you to have at least a few years experience recruiting for them to even consider you. SmartTalent was willing to give me a chance to learn and grow with them as a company. I have really enjoyed working with my team, we are like a little family in our office. we dont always agree on things but we all know we are there for each other and are here to make our branch succeed. We have really started growing our numbers and have started getting a monthly bonus! this has really helped me especially, and really shows that our hard work is paying off. SmartTalent also does a good job of checking in with candidates and making smart talent a fun place to work. sometimes we will hold fun little contests for employees to partake in, it really keeps people engaged and excited to work with us! I would recommend coming to SmartTalent if you are looking for work or if you are trying to fill a position for your company!

    Cons

I wouldn't really say that there are many cons. Sometimes it can get a little busy and things get a little stressful.

I have been working at SmartTalent full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Awesome company atmosphere - holiday, birthday, anniversary and appreciation events. Great coworkers - very helpful and supportive while giving you the space to grow within your position. Almost like a 2nd family. Growth opportunity - There is potential for growth. Management likes to promote within. Training - management provides hands on training and continued educational growth. Job requirements - realistic goals set, nothing over the top and the freedom to be creative and personalize your business management/sales style.

    Cons

Not a lot of cons to mention. Although, it would be nice to have the day after thanksgiving and Christmas Eve off as a paid holiday. There are always little things a company could make changes to. I believe it's the people who make up for the difference.
