Pros
Working hours and conditions. Great benefit package and vacation, sick leave policy. Great local people in top management positions that were with the original company. With buyout, the local company is branching out into new territories and types of work.
Cons
No room for local advancement. Undergoing a lot of upheaval and turmoil with local company being bought out by a large international corporation. In some areas there is not a lot of cooperation from the field in working with processes in the main office.
