Leadership is the Issue:
Unfortunately, Siteimprove is plagued by narcissistic leadership at the top. The CEO and CHRO are more concerned with self-aggrandizement than fostering a positive work environment for their employees. Nepotism and "homie hookups" are rampant among new hires, with past colleagues inevitably having their bridges burnt. This pattern of hiring based on personal connections rather than merit is a huge red flag.
My Experience:
The CEO and CHRO initially seemed like champions, but that facade quickly crumbled. Senior leaders immediately became the target once a convenient scapegoat was needed for a department's struggles when speaking to Nordic Capital.
Look Elsewhere:
Unless you thrive in a culture of blame, belittlement, and self-serving leadership, avoid Siteimprove. My recommendation to current and prospective employees is to look elsewhere for a company that values its people and fosters genuine professional development.
The reviews are accurate:
Siteimprove hired a company to remove true Glassdoor reviews and replace them with fake posts. Ask about attrition and thoroughly filter past review.
