Pros

The projects are really cool. Projects available in latest version of TCL, Android, RoR,.net. They also use intensive Linux & c++ programming. Almost all projects are very well architected.. Can learn cutting edge tech & advanced design patterns. The company is full of QA folks with very few developers. The QA folks have no idea why they are in office and it's just the few developers driving the QA folks. So if u are a developer u automatically gain a lot of business knowledge. And the cream is, it's Telecom guys, never boring technology. Awesome coffee/tea vendor, a descent snacks,10% ESPP, good insurance coverage.

Cons

There is a lot of friction between US & India. While this is common in any company, the management here is not (capable of) taking necessary steps to create collaboration. They are just 2 years old in India and want to do cost cutting, hikes are below market - single digit for everyone. They believe in quantity of assets and not quality. Like, they would hire 2 crapp engineers in price if 1 solid techie. They don't have any idea on how to keep good workers happy. No transportation, no gym, no TV inside office or cafe (only one in reception n TAC center), a veg lunch provider with boring food, no team outings (at max is pizza Hut) , a good TT room, if u travel abroad reimbursement is a joke, no RSUs . The company is formed by x Motorola employees who are still not our of the moto shoes. They sing praise of moto almost daily and they are as slow as typical moto guy would be. And u will see a moto employee promoted /recognized for no reason, any part of the year. It's a myth.
