Pros

- People are nice and smart. - It feels that people care about what they are doing.

Cons

The company CEO speaks a lot about how they care about employees, and how everyone should be friends, communicate, and hang out together. At the monthly meeting, he tells everyone that the company is in great shape and everyone is safe and no layoffs are planned. A month later dozens of people are fired by a 10 minutes call with an unknown person. Ah, and severance pay is minimal.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We agree our people are incredible, smart and truly care about their work. We do speak a lot about how much we care about our folks because they are the foundation of our business, which is why making the decisions to reorg was incredibly difficult. Thankfully the company is currently in great shape and ultimately the decision was reached in an effort to better serve our customers and to further our commitment to cross functional communication and collaboration.

Pros

- Great Leaders: Transparent, present, and hard working - Competitive compensation - A TON of momentum within the company

Cons

- Remote culture makes it hard to bond - Small company: A lot of scrappiness with softwares for your day to day, so you don't always have the best in class tools to succeed.

Pros

- Little to no micromanagement - There are a handful of decent people who work there - Traveling on the company's dime is a nice perk - In theory, the values are solid.

Cons

- If you aren't on the sales team, the company truly does not care about you. - Tech-bro culture - Unrealistic expectations and goals (unless you are on the sales team) - Not Shopmonkey's fault, but the customer base can be volatile and difficult to work with.
