Pros
Working at Shift has been a fantastic journey. It is a place where I am constantly able to learn, grow, and make a direct impact in the lives of transitioning servicemembers.
The culture at Shift is unique. It is a place where people from both traditional and non-traditional backgrounds can bring their experiences and whole selves to work. The perspectives brought from everyone on the team are valued and play a huge part in the work that is done.
I feel like the career opportunities at Shift are also pretty great. Personally, my growth at the company has been tremendous and who I was a year ago from writing this to who I am now are two completely different people. I wouldn't have developed the skills or abilities I have now had it not been for the support from the leadership and the ability to work autonomously where I needed to.
If you are someone who is empathetic, mission-driven, authentic, and you're looking for somewhere you can make a difference every day, look no further.
Cons
I can't think of any cons but, if I had any, it would be easy to talk to the leadership about it. They are very open about receiving feedback and ask for it constantly.
